About us

Kilmihil N.S is a catholic mixed primary school located in the village of Kilmihil in West Clare. At present, there are 121 pupils in our school. There are 5 mainstream teachers, 1 learning support, 2 resource/learning support teachers, 2 SNAS and a secretary.The school is located in the centre of the village, just beside the GAA grounds and the Community centre, in which the local playschools and after-school clubs are located.We are very involved in sport, playing football, rounders and tag rugby. Music is a big part of our school, with tin whistle being taught from 1st class. We take part in Feile and in the Hallelujah concert in the RDS.We have been awarded our 3rd Green Flag this year aswell as the discover Science Award. We enter write-a-story, poetry and hand-writing competitions allowing our children to showcase their various talents.
